Rod MacQueen is a coach that created and made impact without doubt. Rod changed the game of Rugby in Australia, he was the coach that transitioned the game from Amateur era to the professional one. Without doubt he was a coach that created impact.
The General, as he was know Gerald Neesham is very much a sport coach that created impact, he is the father of what today is the modern game of Aussie Rules Football, his record as a WAFL Coach with Claremont is unparalleled wining four premierships and making the Grand Final in every year bar one from 1987 to 1993, and he still continues today making a major impact as CEO of the Clontarf Foundation and Academy program.
Herb Brooks is very much a coach with impact, but the story is more than just the 1980 US Olympic Team, yes that is the most significant part but there is a great deal more to the legend that is Herb Brooks
Phil Jackson and Tex Winter individually were great coaches, but together they were coaches that created impact. They led both the Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers to record championships by undersatnding each others strengths and weaknesses as coaches.
